Student Access & Data

This section of your Campus Settings allows you to control how students log in, what information they provide, and how their data is accessed.

To access these options:

  1. Log in to your admin account

  2. Click your logo in the top-right corner

  3. Go to Settings → Campus Settings

1. Student Login Management

Manage the login methods available for students:

  • Allow SSO Login

    • Enables students to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) via your institution’s credentials.

  • Allow Standard Login

    • Enables login using email and password.

    • If you disable this, make sure SSO Login is enabled first to avoid locking students out.

Additional Options:

  • Ask students to fill out additional information

    • When enabled, students will be asked to complete extra fields after logging in.

    • To use this feature, create a metadata form by navigating to Custom Fields in the Student Database.

Important:

If both SSO Login and Standard Login are enabled, students can choose which method they prefer when logging in.

2. Student Data Access

Control who can access student data:

  • Override Student Data Permission

    • When enabled, admins can access student data regardless of individual data-sharing settings.

    • When disabled, you can only view data for students who have granted access via their profile settings.
