Club Controls & Restrictions

This section of your Campus Settings lets you manage how clubs operate on your campus. You can control sales restrictions, feature access, bank details, and cash payment settings.

To access these options:

  1. Log in to your admin account

  2. Click your logo in the top-right corner

  3. Go to Settings → Campus Settings

Below are the key controls:

1. Email Domain Restriction

Restrict ticket, membership, and merchandise sales to students with specific email domains.

  • Add one or more domains (e.g., myuni.edu, gmail.com)

  • Press Enter after each domain

  • To allow all domains, leave this section as it is

  • Hit Save when done

2. Clubs’ Access to Features

Decide what features clubs can access:

  • Memberships – enable for affiliated and/or unaffiliated clubs

  • Events – enable for affiliated and/or unaffiliated clubs

  • Merchandise – enable for affiliated and/or unaffiliated clubs

3. Cash Sales Settings

Control whether clubs can process offline payments:

  • Cash Ticket Sales – allow clubs to sell event tickets for cash

  • Cash Membership Sales – allow cash membership payments

  • Cash Merchandise Sales – allow cash merchandise sales

4. Club Bank Details

Manage how clubs provide and edit their banking information:

  • Allow clubs to add their bank details – enable or disable adding bank info

  • Lock Bank Details – prevent clubs from editing bank details after entry

  • Hide Bank Details on the Club Management Module – hide this info from union view if needed

5. Manage Feature Availability (Club Management)

Further customize what clubs can do:

  • Enable the addition of Club Executives – allow clubs to add/edit their executive team

  • Restrict Changes to Club Name – prevent clubs from renaming themselves after creation

  • Restrict Membership Imports – prevent clubs from uploading bulk member lists

  • Allow External Links in Link-in-Bio pages – control whether clubs can include external links

  • Show Unaffiliated Clubs on Search Page – toggle visibility of unaffiliated clubs on the Rubric search page and on your embedded club directory

  • Ratings & Reviews – enable or disable ratings for all clubs

  • Tap & Pay – allow club executives to collect payments via Tap & Pay

6. Restrict Election Counting Methods

Control which voting methods clubs can use for elections:

  • Select the counting methods you want to restrict

  • At least one method must remain available

  • You cannot restrict all methods

7. Merchandise Creation Notification

Set up email notifications when clubs create new merchandise so you don’t miss out:

  • Enter one or more email addresses

  • Press Enter after adding each email

  • Only valid email addresses will be accepted

8. Terms and Conditions Override

Set a standard set of terms that applies across all clubs, overriding any custom terms set by individual clubs for events or memberships.
